Planning: If you don't plan ahead, you'll fail behind - J - Planning... Goal Setting... Budgeting... Monitoring... These are all like profanities to the Gun Ho Entrepreneur. But without them it's a business death sentence. Yes a business can flounder for years, and maybe escape the status of hobby. But, why run an economy car when you can have a sports car for the same effort? Yes I said it. It's completely counter intuitive to everything you believe... Right? It actually takes less time to work the business in a stronger place when you have the plans in place. Furthermore, when you hire employees, they can follow the plans. Furthermore, with a stable enough plan and enough assets, the company can apply for business loans to build more faster.
